Here is an episode of MegaWorld which goes behind the scene at one of the Volkswagon factories in Dresden, Germany. Just watching this video of how VW applied totally different thinking to their manufacturing process to make it more lean, environment friendly, employee friendly and customer friendly is exciting.
Now if only we could apply similar type of out of the box thinking to other areas of what we do on a regular basis. I would love to see some of these types of thinking applied to my place of work in the hopes that people are more productive and effective in what they do, are able to do things efficiently and in the process can reduce wastage of time so they can go home early and spend time doing what they like outside of work. Spend time with friends and family!
